Over the years, Mike Black and The Stingrays have
received first call to work with national acts when
they came to town. They have worked with
well-known artists such as Blood Sweat and Tears,
The Grass Roots, Eddie Raven, Bill Haley's Comets,
Brian Hyland, Del Shannon, Percy Sledge, Freddy
Cannon, Lesley Gore, The Byrds and many others. They
have played a number of venues across the country,
some as far away as Fort Lauderdale, Florida!
The personnel line-up has remained virtually intact
for the past 20 years: Mike Black - vocals;
Graham Pugh - guitar; Rick Alongi - bass guitar;
Phil Sapper - Keyboards and Bob Gourley - drums.
THE ELVIS SHOW
Mike Black and The
Stingrays Elvis Show is one of a very few in the
country with a live band! The show features a
selection of Elvis hits authentically delivered with
great audience interaction. Scarves and teddy bears
are handed out during the performance. To top things
off, Mike has been accused of looking and sounding
like Elvis!
